I Made It!!
Well, the news is out and it is official that I have been picked to be, and I am so excited about making it, onto the Stuck on U Sketches Design Team as a Project Life Designer! I initially applied for the Die Cut team but it was already full so the co-creator of the blog, Leah, thought that I would be perfect for the Project Life team. So I gave it a thought and watched several You Tube videos and decided that I wanted to do it. I had heard of Project Life but had not done any of it. I was so excited to try something new and exciting. Here is my first PL layout:
I had so much fun creating it too. I have since ordered several of the page protectors and a couple of the card packs. I plan on using mostly 12" x 12" paper cut down to the various sizes. I want people to understand that you don't need to purchase the kits in order to do PL. You can use any kind of paper for it, like I did above. Here are the details:
- Cricut cart: Life Is A Beach
- Paper: Paper Studio
- Cardstock: Bazzill
- Washi tape: Walmart
- Alphas: Doodlebug, Cosmo Cricket, American Crafts
- Stickles: Pink Glam, Firefly
- Brads: Unknown
- Buttons: Making Memories
- Adhesive: Scotch, Zig, Recollections
I hope you really like this layout. It was such a blast to do and learn. Have a great day and come back often to see what I am doing on Stuck On U Sketches!

13 Nights of Halloween #10
Welcome back to my 13 Nights of Halloween event! Thanks so much for following me on my blog during this time.
Today I have another card for you. You see a lot of this image where a cat is coming out of a pumpkin and I thought that it was always so cute so I thought to try it out on a card. I used Cricut cartridge Create a critter for both the cat and the pumpkin. The cat is cut at 4" and the pumpkin was cut at 2". I just cut the bottom half of the cat off and glued him inside the pumpkin. Then I cut the tail off the bottom piece and glued it to look like it was coming out of the mouth of the pumpkin. Here are the rest of the details:

13 Nights of Halloween #4
Today is day #4 of my 13 Nights of Halloween and I have a new project for you. This cut comes from Cricut cartridge Mini Monsters. I love the style of old street lamps and just fell in love with this one. Plus it's Halloween which gives it another plus!
I cut the lamp out at 4-3/4". I wouldn't recommend cutting it much smaller as the words might not cut very clear and would be very hard to understand. My card base is a normal A2 size, 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Here are the rest of the supplies:
- Cricut cart: Mini Monsters
- Paper: Unknown
- Cardstock: Bazzill
- Stickles: Yellow
- Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon
- Pop dots: Recollections
- Adhesive: Scotch, Zig
Thanks so much again for looking at my project and blog. I really appreciate it. Come back tomorrow for another Halloween project as we count down my 13 Nights of Halloween. - Paper: Bazzill
- Stamp: My Pink Stamper " Spook-alicous"

13 Nights of Halloween
Welcome to my 13 Nights of Halloween event! I am so excited to get this going. I absolutely LOVE Halloween. My husband and I go out every year to decorate our home. We do more at Halloween then Christmas!
I am starting this event with this cute little card from Create a Critter 2. I cut this out at 4". I also pop dotted the whole thing which really gives it a 3D look. The sentiment also adds to the cute spookiness. Here are the details of the card:

Hello Kitty Witch card
Here is a rather cutie of a card. With it being the Halloween season and a challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut of using Black and Purple in your project, I decided to create this little card. I love the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I would have to say it is my favorite cartridge next to Create a Critter.
I used the card feature on the cartridge and cut it out at 6". I then used Stickles on the stars, the shirt, and the bow. Here are the rest of the details:

Note Card
Here is my latest creation that I have completed for a challenge on Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge is to use "music" on your project. I used the Cricut cart Slumber Party and cut the notes out in several sizes ranging from 1" to 2-1/2". I then thought it would be cool to have one set of notes a contrasting color so I chose my favorite color pink.:) On the inside of the card is a sentiment that reads, "Just A Note". The card is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2. Here are the rest of the details:
- Cricut cart: Slumber Party
- Paper: Bazzill
- Stamp (inside): My Pink Stampers Itty Bitty-licious
- Ink: Versa Fine in black
- Adhesive: Scotch, Recollections, Zig 2 way
It may be a simple card but it makes a big statement. I have entered my card into the following challenges:
I do hope you enjoy this card and thank you so much for looking at it. Have a great day.:)

Farewell to Summer Card
I decided to do a farewell to summer card. It was initially made for a challenge but I missed the deadline without knowing it. Oh well. So I thought that since summer was coming to an end here that I would just call it a "Farewell to Summer" card. It's a pretty simple card. For the challenge you had to of had 2 Cricut cuts so I chose the sun and popsicle from Simply Charmed. I cut the sun out at 2-1/2" and the popsicle out at 3". The card is 5-1/2" x 4-1/4". Here are the rest of the details:
- Cricut cart: Simply Charmed
- Paper: Bazzill
- Embossing: Cuttlebug's "Seeing Spots"
- Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon "Citrus Assortment"
- Stamp: My Craft Spot "Tickets"

- Cricut cart: Mini Monsters
- Paper: Unknown
- Cardstock: Bazzill
- Stickles: Purple, Lime Green, Eucalyptus
- Ribbon: Ofray

40th Birthday Cake Card
I love the look on this cakes face and it couldn't be anymore appropriate for my sister in law's 40th birthday card from me to her. I really hope she loves it and I think she will.
I started out by using the Gypsy cart Smiley Cards. You can only get it for the Gypsy but the last time I looked you couldn't get it for that anymore. So I'm sorry to those who can't and would of loved to make this cake.
I cut the cake out at 4-1/2". I didn't like the idea of the candles being the same color of the cake as the initial cut calls for so I cut an extra and cut the candles off to place on here. I colored the flames with Stickles and mounted it on a 4"x 5-1/4" layer and mounted that onto a 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" card. Here are the details:

Dragonfly tag
I have to say that this tag looks so much better in person. I'm proud that I was able to get 3 projects posted these past couple of days. My pain and depression play such a big part in this.
I posted this tag on My Craft Spot. Their challenge this week is an anything goes challenge. I got this dragonfly from Cricut cartridge Best of 2006. On the cart though Cricut calls it a butterfly. I cut it out at 3-1/2". Here are the details:

Well, here I am again with a new card. My Craft Spot is having a challenge right now to make something with embossing either dry or wet. And then Fantabulous Cricut is having a challenge as well that is to make something with either a balloon or kite on it. So I decided to go ahead and make a card with both elements included and I think it came out cute. I decided to use Hello Kitty Greetings from Cricut and also Create a Critter for the kite. Here is the recipe:
- Cricut carts: Hello Kitty Greetings & Create a Critter
- Paper: Bazzill
- Cuttlebug folders: Juli's Garden & Swiss Dots
- Ribbon: American Crafts

- Button: Making Memories
- Adhesive: ATG, Zig 2-way, Zots Pop Dots, & Glue Dots
The card size is 5-1/2"x 4-1/4". I am also entering this card into Card Makin' Mamas. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did making it. Thanks so much for looking and have a great weekend!
