Welcome to my blog! Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - If It Has Wings. I am so sad that this is my last project with them. Nanne and Leah have decided to move on to new things and end the blog site, but it will remain open for you all to gather inspiration when ever needed.
Today I have this cute tag for you that I created. It is using the Cricut cartridge Best of 2006. It is an old one but still a goody to me. I used my Cricut Explore to cut it out then I decided to emboss the dragonfly's wings to give it some cool texture. I wanted this tag to have the feeling of texture on it and the look of the dragonfly flying off the page. Next, I put stickles to give it some sparkle onto the wings, body, and tail. I just used corresponding colors. Then I wanted it to look like it was in the flowers so I used some flowers I got from the Dollar Tree and used some old yellow flower eyelets to hold them on with. I pop dotted the dragonfly to the tag and here you go. Here is a list of supplies:

Cricut cart: Best of 2006

Paper: Own Stock

Cardstock: Bazzill

Flowers: Dollar Tree

Eyelets: Doodlebug

Stickles: Yellow, Purple, Lime Green

Ribbon: Ofray

Staple: Fastenator

Adhesive: Scotch, Zig

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my last blog post for SOUS. I wish the best of luck to both Nanne and Leah. Have a great weekend! :)

Hello and welcome to Cards By Cricut. Today I have a treat for you with a Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Arrows. I had a hard time with this challenge and it actually took me until today to get it done because I just couldn't come up with an idea for it card wise. So I went onto the SOUS blog and looked at Leah's beautiful layout she did and was completely inspired to do a layout instead of a card this time. I do make layouts occasionally but I mainly make cards to display on my blog.

I used my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space to make the two arrows. I just typed in "arrows" into the search box and it gave me a ton to look at. After I chose what I wanted to use then I simply sized them and cut them out. It is so easy to use and no one should feel intimidated by CDS. Next I got out my paper from both DCWV Little Miss and Stampin' Up! to use with this layout. After I cut everything and got
my picture on (who is my new niece Elise after just having a bath), I started decorating the page. I used the ephemera pack from Pink Paislee "Bella Rouge". I love this line as the colors are fantastic and go great with this paper line. When I was all done I took my picture to share with all of you. Here are the details:

Paper: DCWV Little Miss paper pack, Stampin' Up! Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Tip Top Taupe

Hi and welcome to my blog. If you have come here from Stuck On U Sketches then you are in the right place and thank you for visiting my blog and post. This week we had the Die Cut Challenge of Home Sweet Home. I loved this theme and knew instantly what I wanted to do. I found the idea on Pintrest and knew that was what I wanted to do. First off I used Baked Brown Sugar from Stampin' Up! as my card base. I then stamped all the little houses with Stampin' Up! ink Tangelo Twist and Basic Black. Next, I die cut all the houses out and placed them onto the card popping up the Baked Brown Sugar one in the middle. I then worked on the banner. Using Whisper White, Tangelo Twist, and Baked Brown Sugar I die cut the banners out, stamping on them first using Tangelo Twist and Basic Black. I then tied black and white twine in the corners to make it look like they are holding up the banners. I finally stamped the sentiment using Tangelo twist and pop dotted it onto the card.
Thank you so much for coming to my blog and looking at my post. Remember that over at SOUS we have a top 3 for those that participate in our Home Sweet Home Die Cut Challenge. Just go here. Hi and welcome. Today's project is from Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Industrial. Industrial can mean a few different things, gears, clocks, cameras, typewriters and such. I decided to use some gears and clock hands. I used Cricut Design Space for all the cuts on my Cricut Explore. The bottom red layer is cut at 5-3/4"x 5-3/4". The sentiment is cut at 5.67"x 3". And the clock hands were cut at .75"x 2" and .75"x 4". I used a red brad to secure the clock hands to the card. Here are the rest of the details:

Paper: Stampin' Up! Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White

Hi and thanks for coming to my blog today. Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge. For this week our challenge is In The Garden. With Spring now officially here I wanted something that showed Spring. So I did this really cute caterpillar crawling it's way on a flower. I used the Cricut cartridge Live Simply for the die
cut. I cut it out at 2-3/4" and pop dotted it to make it stand out. I embossed the back layer with a Cuttlebug folder Juli's Garden. I wanted something in the bottom right corner so I cut this doily from a die from My Craft Spot which is sadly out of business now. I layered a button on top

and put a piece of twine through it. I finally placed a piece of yellow ribbon around the layer and place everything on top. The inside of the card says Happy Spring stamped on it. Here are the details:
Hi and welcome to my blog! I am here this week with a new die cut challenge from Stuck On U Sketches and it is Clothing. This challenge was a little difficult at first because I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I decided at first to look through my stamps and see what I could come up with for a saying to go with my design whatever it was going to be. After I saw the saying "Hang in there" I came up with the idea of a clothesline. I then searched my Cricut cartridges for a clothesline die cut. I found the perfect one from Country Life.

I cut the line out at 4". I also decided that I wanted a real line instead of the paper one so I took a piece of twine and glued it to the paper line. The clothespins were just glued on top of it. I then put white eyelets in the corners. I stamped the card with the My Pink Stamper stamp and there you have this really cute, but inspiring card. Here are the details:

Cricut art: Country Life

Paper: Bazzill

Eyelets: Doodlebug

I really hope you like my project for the SOUS Die Cut Challenge - Clothing. It really was fun to put together and I like the way it came out. Thanks so much for coming to my blog and taking a look. Have a great weekend! :)

Hi and welcome to my blog! First I want to say I am so sorry this is up so late. Life got away from me and I forgot but I have it up now :) Today we have a new challenge from SOUS and it is called Key To My Heart. At first I thought of using a really cute svg file from Miss Kate Cuttables but I decided to go a different route. Anything chocolate, especially cupcakes, are the Key To My Heart so I am going to use the literal meaning of Key To My Heart.
I am using a standard A2 card base of 4-1/4" by 5-1/2" to start off my project. Next I chose to use a cupcake from Cricut cartridge Sweet Treats cut at 4-1/2". I

decided to use Valentine colors to using the suggested colors in the booklet. I embossed the top of the cupcake to give some dimension to the frosting and added some cute sequins as candy sprinkles. The sentiment on the bottom is using a die cut from My Craft Spot. It is hard to see the dimension of it

sticking out but it gives a little more flair to the card. Here are all the details:

Thanks so much for coming to my blog and looking at my Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Key To My Heart project. This card was so much fun putting together with all the extras. My favorite part would have to be the banner. Love the dimension. Well, have a great weekend everyone and thanks again for coming! :)

Here is another Valentine's Day card I created. I have been making a lot of cards lately. I decided to try something new this time. I have a Cricut Explore so I am allowed to cut SVG's. I downloaded this bee from Miss Kate's Cuttables. It turned out just too cute. I had a lot of fun with it. Here is a detailed list:
Here is my Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Warm and Cozy. I had a little trouble at first coming up with idea of a project for this challenge. I had to think about what makes me all warm and cozy and I came up with the idea of a nice warm beverage of either a hot coffee or hot cocoa with nice melting marshmallows on top. I knew then I had my project. I started with the Cricut Lite cartridge Love A
Latte. I used my Cricut Explore to cut it out and did a beautiful job at all the tight corners. I am really loving my Explore. I cut the cup out at 4-1/2". This gave plenty of room for my stamp on top. I used foam adhesives to pop the cup up off of the card it's self. Here are all the details:
I have decided to get started a little early this year with my Valentine's Day cards instead of putting it off until next month. I am going to make several different types and I plan to send them to family members and of course my husband. My first card in this series is this really cute card I made with my Cricut Explore and Cricut cartridge Love Struck. I have loved this die cut since the moment I saw it and
Hello fellow Scrapbookers! I hope you are having a great day. If you are looking for my SOUS blog just scroll down. Also I have a new blog Live, Love, Project Life that focuses on my Project Life layouts and weekly challenges that I have put into place for me that are open to everyone. For my post today I created this cute winter fun card. I created it for 2 challenges: Fantabulous Cricut and Love To Create. For this card I used my Cricut Explore and the Cricut cartridge Winter Frolic. I cut her at 3-1/2". The snowflakes were cut at 1/2". Only on the Explore could you do this small. Here are the details:

Cricut cart: Winter Frolic

Paper: Bazzill

Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon

Stamp: My Craft Spot

Adhesive: Scotch, Zig

Hello and welcome to my blog. Here is my card for the SOUS Die Cut Challenge - Snow. I was inspired to make this card after we got our first snowfall on Jan 1st, New Year's Day. All the animals searching for food through the snow. I used an A2 sized card for my base along with a light blue layer cut at 4 x 5-1/4. The next layer I cut was 3-3/4 x 5 and then I embossed it. I cut the tree from Cricut cartridge Jolly Holidays at 4 inches. The robins were cut from Cricut cartridge
Winter Woodland at 2 inches and 1-1/2 inches. I placed stickles on the snow at the base of the tree and the snowflakes. Here are the rest of the details:
Today I have a Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge for you. The theme is Anything New Year. I created this cute little card for you with this adorable penguin on it all dress out and ready for a night out on the town. I used Create a Critter 2 for my die cut and I cut him out at 3.90" on my Cricut Explore.
It is great for cutting little tiny things like his bow tie and cane. I used Stickles on his hat band, bow tie, and cane to give him a little sparkle on such a big night.
Welcome to my blog! Today I have a card I made for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Anything Christmas. I really love this really cute reindeer and thought he would look perfect on top of a Christmas card. I made it look like he is flying over the roof tops on Christmas Eve. I cut the little reindeer out from Cricut cartridge Create A Critter 2. I cut him out at 4". I put some Xmas Red Stickles

on his nose too. I then place him on the card. I know it is kind of hard to see the embossing underneath the reindeer. It is supposed to say Merry Christmas. I embossed with gold powder. I think next time I will do the embossing more then once! :) Here are the details:
Hello and welcome to my blog! Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Fall Colors. I so loved working on this challenge. I love this time of year and all the colors that come with it so I had a blast making my card for you. I knew I wanted a cute little animal so I chose Cricut cartridge "Create A Critter 2." I cut the Thanksgiving squirrel out at 3-1/2". I used Gold Stickles on the buckle of the hat. All the leaves are punched out from a Darice punch. They are about a 1/2" tall. I scattered them on the card. I placed ribbon around the card and pop dotted the squirrel on. I then stamped my sentiment. Here are the details:

Cricut cart: Create A Critter 2

Cardstock: Bazzill

Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon

Stickles: Gold

Punch: Darice Leaf Punch

Stamp: My Craft Spot "Happy Thanksgiving"

Ink: Versafine "Black Onyx"

Adhesive: Scotch, Zig

Thanks so much for coming to and looking at my blog. It means a lot to me. Here is my spread for the Stuck On U Sketches Project Life Challenge - Plaid. I have to admit that this was not an easy challenge for me to do. I wasn't sure if I had any Project Life cards that would work for it because during the month of October I only use Halloween themed cards. But voila I found one which I used it for my title card. There is also some plaid on my second

page in the bottom right corner too. Plaid can be a fun way of adding several colors to your page all on one card. I just added some washi tape to it and my date and week info to make it a fun card.
Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Trick or Treat. I love this time of year, especially for Halloween. I really love making all the cute and scary cards and projects.
For this challenge I created a cute and fun way to give out some special treats to some very special trick-er treat-ers! The box itself is cut from one of my favorite Cricut cartridges, Chic-n-Scary, at 4-3/4". From bottom to top the box measures 4-1/2"h by 2-3/4"w by 2-1/8"d. I then took a white gel pen and did a dash line all the way around the box. I recommend doing this before putting the box together. I took a piece of paper cut to 2-1/2" by 10". I glued it around the box, cutting off the excess, then I glued the box together. The pumpkin on the front is cut at 2-3/4" from Cricut cartridge Mini Monsters. The purple ruffle is a piece of paper cut to 1-1/4" by 8". I scored the paper every 1/4" then folded the paper back and forth. After that I glued the ends together and let it dry. Then I glued the ruffle to a 2" purple circle. When it is completely dried I glued the pumpkin to the ruffle and the whole thing to the box. Here are the details:

Cricut cart.: Chic-n-Scary, Mini Monsters

Paper: Doodlebug (2005)

Cardstock: Bazzill

White Gel Pen: Signo Broad White

Adhesive: Scotch ATG, Scotch Quick Dry

Here is my spread for the Stuck On U Sketches Project Life Challenge: Use primarily white, orange, and black. I have to admit that I totally loved doing this challenge. This time of year is my favorite. I love Fall. I love the changing of the temperatures, the color changing of all the trees around me, and most importantly, my favorite holiday, I love...HALLOWEEN!! I wanted to use a page protector on this one that I hardly ever use and that is Design E. I know a lot of people have a hard time with this pocket page because Project Life doesn't come with 6x6 cards. I like to think I am doing 4 little traditional layouts. I take each pocket and use my 4x6 and 3x4 cards and use them in different ways. I angle them to take up more space and give an interesting look. On this spread I used some unexpected items. In the bottom right corner I used a painted wood embellishment. Also the little leaves were once buttons, I just clipped off the shaft.

I really hope you enjoyed my Project Life spread and also hope that you will come join us at SOUS for this challenge. Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge - Anything Autumn. I really love how this card came out. It is very simple but has sort of an elegance to it. I love the changing of the leaves this time of year. This is my favorite season. I cut the leaf out at 4" from the Cricut cartridge Stretch Your Imagination. It is an older cartridge but still a goodie. Here are the details:

Here are several pics of my very messy and disorganized scraproom. I have started the challenge from Tiffany Spaulding's "Fall 2014 Get Organized Challenge." It is a 8-week challenge to help you get all of your supplies in order so that you will be able to go to your scrap area and scrapbook. Each week on Tuesday at 10am Tiffany does a live video on Livestream. Right now we are in week 4 - A Plethora of Pictures.
My room has been torn apart in all different directions. Last week I ordered and received a Scraprack which Tiffany makes. It holds whatever scrappy supplies you put into it and makes it all available at your finger tips. My room is messier now then when I first started because I have been breaking down my old storage to put into my new Scraprack. I am hoping that by the time this challenge is done my room will be transformed into a beautiful scraproom. Here is my inspiration:
