Hello Kitty card

Well, here I am again with a new card. My Craft Spot is having a challenge right now to make something with embossing either dry or wet. And then Fantabulous Cricut is having a challenge as well that is to make something with either a balloon or kite on it. So I decided to go ahead and make a card with both elements included and I think it came out cute. I decided to use Hello Kitty Greetings from Cricut and also Create a Critter for the kite. Here is the recipe:

  • Cricut carts: Hello Kitty Greetings & Create a Critter
  • Paper: Bazzill
  • Cuttlebug folders: Juli's Garden & Swiss Dots
  • Ribbon: American Crafts
  • Twine: Doodlebug
  • Button: Making Memories
  • Adhesive: ATG, Zig 2-way, Zots Pop Dots, & Glue Dots
The card size is 5-1/2"x 4-1/4". I am also entering this card into Card Makin' Mamas. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did making it. Thanks so much for looking and have a great weekend!

  • Paper: Unknown
  • Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon
  • Stamp: My Pink Stamper "From The Heart"
  • Ink: Versafine Black
  • Stickles: Christmas Red
  • Adhesive: Scotch, EK Success
I have entered my card into this challenge at Whimsical Designs. Please enjoy and thanks so much for looking!

12 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Here we are with Day 10! I can't believe how fast this time went. I am back using my Cricut for the main cut.
I used Create-a-Critter for the reindeer cutting it at 4". After putting it together I used Stickles for the nose and collar. I then used my I-rock tool again to place a red stud where the knot would be. I next took a piece of pattern paper and cut it to 1' x 4' and placed it vertical on my card layer. I then took some white ribbon and tied it around the small piece of pattern paper. I pop dotted the reindeer on and then using my ATG I adhered the whole thing onto a white card stock base. Here are the details:

  • Cricut cart: Create-a-Critter
  • Paper: Bazzill, American Crafts
  • Ribbon: Offray
  • Stickles: Xmas Red, Gold
  • Red stud: I-Rock tool
  • Adhesive: Scotch, Ek Success 2 Way Glue & Pop Dots
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a creative day!:)

Turkey Card

Here is the Thanksgiving card I am sending out this year that I said I would post today. I made 5 cards in this style all together. I did it in assembly line fashion which helped a lot. You wouldn't think that they would take up so much time, but they did. I am also working on some others including some Christmas ones with snowflakes that I will post later. But here are the details for this card:

  • Cricut cart.: Create A Critter
  • Paper: Bazzill
  • Ribbon: Offray
  • Cuttlebug: Swiss Dots
  • Punch: Marvey/Uchida
  • Adhesive: 3M, Scotch

Christmas in May card

I know that it is only May, but I wanted to do this card for a challenge on Christmas Card Challenge. The challenge was last week so I missed it, but I loved the idea of it so I went ahead and just did it. That's a good idea too. If you are stuck and need some inspiration just find a challenge, new or old, or make one up of your own. Here are the details:
  • Cricut cart: Create a Critter
  • Paper: Bazzill & AMC
  • Ribbon: Offray
  • Stamp: My Pink Stamper "Biggie Christmas"
  • Ink: Color Box
This card was so much fun to make. It was a lot less stressful to make it in May then late November, that's for sure. Lol. Enjoy!
