I used paper from the Worth Wondering kit they had this month. /it was so much fun to use too. We had to use the stamps from one of the 3 kits and I used mine from my This Life Noted kit for the "Miss u" on the front. Here are the details:

SOUS Project Life Challenge - Use a Stamp

     Welcome, welcome, to my blog and here is my project for the SOUS Project Life Challenge of using a stamp on our pages. I am almost always using stamps in some form or another on my Project Life pages so this was and is a pretty easy challenge to do. The 2 areas I stamped are the top right pocket at the bottom. I stamped the day of the week and date. Then on the bottom middle pocket at the bottom as well of the date and made by stamp. I love using date stamps on my pages as it gives me a specific time in which the event or picture took place. Plus they are easy stamps to find as you can go to most office type stores to find one very cheaply.

     Don't forget also that we are having a sponsor this month with a fantastic prize. You can enter using anyone of the challenges for the month of April.

SOUS Project Life Challenge - Top Note

Here is my SOUS Project Life DT Challenge - Top Note. At first I will have to admit that I didn't know what a top note was until I saw Nanne's example. Then I was very excited about what I could do for this challenge. I used my Cricut and the Cricut cartridge Accents Essentials to get the top note shape cut out. I cut it at 4". I then decided to use it for my weekly title spot. I thought that the date would fit nicely inside and it did. I then finished it off with some twine. 

You really need to give this one a try. It's very simple to do. If you don't have a die cutting machine, you could trace one out or simply make one of your own. Plus this month we have a very special sponsor for our April challenge drawing. You have 2 weeks to submit to today's PL challenge. All submitted projects will be up for grabs to win the blog candy!

Thank You card

Hello again. Here is a really cute card I made for another card challenge over at My Craft Spot. The challenge this week was to make something with the phrase Thank you on it. I pulled out my Cricut cartridge Live Simply for the cute little worm on the branch. I cut it out at 4". I then used my metal dies for the dollies. The yellow enamel dot is one I made myself. I watched a You Tube video on how to melt down Pony Beads to make enamel dots. It was really cool. Here are the details:

Easter Chick Card

I got the idea from the challenge on the site Fantabulous Cricut where the challenge is Bye Bye Birdie, any project with a bird on it. The picture came out a little wonky as the red stripes are supposed to be a bright pink. The chick is from Create a Critter 2 and was cut at 4". The card itself is an A2 size card, 4-1/4"x 5-1/2". Here is the rest of the details:

SOUS Project Life Challenge - Butterfly

So sorry for the delay in me posting this but it totally slipped my mind. Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Project Life Challenge - Butterfly. I decided to place a butterfly, by Jenni Bowlin Studio, on the card that I had a picture of my rose bush starting to grow it's leaves as Spring has sprung. Using a butterfly on your Project Life is pretty easy as you can place on just about anywhere. So get your projects done and join us in this challenge. SOUS Project Life Challenge - Neon

Here is my project for the Stuck On U Sketches Challenge: Neon. This was a hard challenge for me to do as I did not have anything neon in my stash. I finally used a piece of poster board that I had used for a yard sale sign and cut a little piece off for a 4"x3" card. I then used a couple brighter pieces of paper for the 4"x6" next to it.
