Beach Layout

Today I thought I would post some layouts that I have completed the last couple weeks. The first is a lo of a beach trip my dh and I took when we went back to California last Sept.

I got the sketch idea from Nuts about Sketches. I used the following:

  • Cricut cart: Life is a Beach & Everyday Paper Dolls
  • Paper: Bazzill, Bo Bunny
  • Ribbon: Unknown
  • Flowers: Prima
  • Embellishments: Echo Park Papers
  • Bling: I-rock

Baby card

Wow! Two in the same day. How about that? After reading Fantabulous Cricut's challenge, I couldn't pass it up. Then I thought about what kind of card I would like to do with bows and buttons and I instantly thought of babies. Then when I was making the boy card I realized I needed to make a girl one too.
So here they are and here are the ingredients:

  • Cricut cart: 9 Months
  • Paper: Bazzill
  • Ribbon: Ofray & CTMH
  • Cuttlebug: Seeing Spots
  • Buttons: Unknown
  • Adhesive: ATG & Zig 2-way

It would be hard to pick a favorite. I love them both. Have a great evening.

    Thanks for looking!

  • Cupcake card

Well, here is another card. I did this one for My Crafty Spot. The challenge was to create a project with a sentiment on the inside and outside. I decided to make a cupcake card and use My Pink Stamper "Sweetest Cupcakes" stamps that I had not used yet. Here are my incredients:

  • Cricut cart: Sweet Treats

  • Paper: Bazzill

  • Cuttlebug: Perfectly Paisley

  • Ribbon: Ofray

  • Stickles: Diamond

  • Stamps: My Pink Stamper "Sweetest Cupcakes"

I cut the cupcake at 3-3/4. This was a pretty easy card to put together. Please enjoy it and I hope to get my other one on today as well.

    Thanks!

    Finally...

A prescription that I have been waiting for 3 & 1/2 weeks now has finally been approved. I need to take a certain pain reliever because I am allergic to most others so I have to get it approved every year by my insurance. Such a pain in the butt! So for 3 & 1/2 weeks I have been without my pain med and it was almost unbearable. I have a different type for breakthroughs and so I have been very cautiously taking those. Finally the wait is over.

    Tags

Hey everyone! I thought I would post these tags that I quickly put together. I had, a few years ago, punched out a lot of these tags and now I wanted to find something to do with them. I thought that they would make cute gift tags to put on to either a gift bag or boxed present. Here is my recipe for each one:

    Girl Tag

    • Paper: Bazzill, Doodlebug

    • Cricut cart: Lite Sugar and Spice

    • Buttons: My stash

    • Stamp: My Pink Stamper-Happiest Moments

    • Stamp pad: Versafine-black

    • Chaulk: Cats Eye-Rouge

    • Ribbon: Ofray

    Boy Tag

    • Paper: Bazzill

    • Cricut cart: Lite B is for Boy

    • Buttons: My stash

    • Stamp: My Pink Stamper-Happiest Moments

    • Stamp pad: Versafine-black

    • Ribbon: Ofray

    Ocean Tag

    • Paper: Bazzill, pp is unknown

    • Cricut cart: Life is a Beach

    • Brad: K & Company

    • Buttons: Dress Me Up

    • Ribbon: Ofray, All My Memories

    • Ribbon tag: Making Memories

Each was very easy to make. I cut out the various Cricut cuts then I assembled the tags. The baby stroller was cut at 2-1/2", the zebra was cut at 3", and the ship was cut at 2".
Enjoy them and thanks for looking. I LOVE comments! Lol.

    St. Paddie's Day Card

Well, here I am again...Im trying so hard to be on here more. I figure if I make cards and things that I will have to post them on here therefore making me post here more often!

So here is my submission to Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge was to make something with a shamrock or the color green. I chose to use both. Here is the recipe of items I used:

  • Cardstock: Bazzill

  • Cricut cartridges: Rock Princess, Paper Doll Dressup, Imagine-Hopstotch

  • Stickles: Emerald, Starlight, Xmas Red, Golden Rod

  • Punch: MS Loop

  • Bling: I-rock

  • Ribbon: Ofray

  • Stamp: My Pink Stamper-Happiest Moments

  • Pen:

  • Adhesive: ATG-3M, Zig 2-way Glue Pen

I used one of the girls from Rock Princess and cut her at 4". I then cut the shamrock from Bazzill Bling at 4.25". I printed one of the papers from Hopstotch for the background of the card.

This was a fun card to put together. It took a lot of work, but I truly had a blast. I hope you enjoy it.
