Easter card

I really love this card! I hate to brag (lol), but it turned out so great. I did this card for My Craft Spot challenge this week. It is to do something Easter related. Here is the recipe:

Finally...

A prescription that I have been waiting for 3 & 1/2 weeks now has finally been approved. I need to take a certain pain reliever because I am allergic to most others so I have to get it approved every year by my insurance. Such a pain in the butt! So for 3 & 1/2 weeks I have been without my pain med and it was almost unbearable. I have a different type for breakthroughs and so I have been very cautiously taking those. Finally the wait is over.

Hey everyone! I thought I would post these tags that I quickly put together. I had, a few years ago, punched out a lot of these tags and now I wanted to find something to do with them. I thought that they would make cute gift tags to put on to either a gift bag or boxed present. Here is my recipe for each one:

Each was very easy to make. I cut out the various Cricut cuts then I assembled the tags. The baby stroller was cut at 2-1/2", the zebra was cut at 3", and the ship was cut at 2".

St. Paddie's Day Card

Well, here I am again...Im trying so hard to be on here more. I figure if I make cards and things that I will have to post them on here therefore making me post here more often!

So here is my submission to Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge was to make something with a shamrock or the color green. I chose to use both. Here is the recipe of items I used:

Cardstock: Bazzill

Cricut cartridges: Rock Princess, Paper Doll Dressup, Imagine-Hopstotch

Stickles: Emerald, Starlight, Xmas Red, Golden Rod

Punch: MS Loop

Bling: I-rock

Ribbon: Ofray

Stamp: My Pink Stamper-Happiest Moments

Pen:

Adhesive: ATG-3M, Zig 2-way Glue Pen

I used one of the girls from Rock Princess and cut her at 4". I then cut the shamrock from Bazzill Bling at 4.25". I printed one of the papers from Hopstotch for the background of the card.

This was a fun card to put together. It took a lot of work, but I truly had a blast. I hope you enjoy it.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Here is the card I did for my husband for today. This is the recipe:

Stamp Pad: Versapad-Black
Adhesive: ATG & Zip glue pen

The skunk was cut at 3-3/4. The grass was cut at 1-1/2. This card was so fun to make too and my dh loved it!

Returning with Hope!

I wanted so hard to keep up with my blog but of course Life has to go and get in the way. Usually though when I say Life I mean my back. The last few month have been pretty bad and when the pain goes up so does my depression. And I hate that! I can not tell you, unless you have been through it, how fun it is trying to convince yourself that you can get out of bed. It seemed to take all my strength to get up and get dressed everyday. I am so glad that both my boys are grown and gone so they didn't have to see me that way. It has gotten a little better since then though the getting up part is hard some days.

2012!

I just wanted to tell everyone...Happy New Year!

I can't believe that it is 2012. Wow, 2011 went really fast! Today is also my DH's 49th birthday. We aren't doing anything special today. On Friday we are going to Flagstaff and I am taking him to dinner there. For today we are just sitting around watching football on TV. I'm very upset that they postponed the Rose Parade till tomorrow for football. You can tell I'm not a fan.:) Oh well. Have a great New Year!
